What is an INE number?

Modified on Tue, 21 Apr at 4:46 PM

The INE number is a unique (Identifiant National Etudiant) National Student Identifier.

You will find this number on your high school diploma ("Bac") transcript, in the top right corner.

This number, also known as the BEA, consists of 10 characters plus a 1-digit key, for example: 1234567890G.

It may also have been provided to you by any other higher education institution in France where you were previously enrolled, including preparatory class high schools.

When paying the CVEC (Student and Campus Life Contribution), you will be assigned a temporary INE identifier.

If ESSEC is the first institution where you are enrolled in France, your permanent INE will be created by ESSEC and will be visible on your MyRegistrar intranet.
