I'm from Japan and looking for a scholarship

BIVO :  Val d'Oise international scholarship is developed and funded by the Val d´Oise Departmental Council, in partnership with the French Embassy in Japan and CY Cergy Paris University.


Intended to support international mobility and promote partnership relations for more than 30 years with Japan, it aims to select Japanese students on criteria of excellence to allow them to follow a study cycle within CY Cergy Paris University in the best possible conditions.


Each successful student will be able to benefit from the following advantages which are part of the Mobility Grant:

• The payment of a grant of 600 euros per month on condition of presence in Val d'Oise territory

• Support for French as a foreign language (FLE) lessons during the school year

• Support for the winning student

• Exemption from visa fees

• Support for the return plane ticket

• The student's social security affiliation

• French government scholarship status


Eligibility criteria:


- Student of Japanese nationality

- In exchange with ESSEC for a semester or a academic year

- Master level

- Level B2 in French


The calendar :


- Application deadline: May 16th, 2022 for 2025/2026

- Publication of results: May 26, 2025
