Franco-British Council

Created in 1995 by French President Jacques Chirac and British Prime Minister John Major, the Entente Cordiale program funds scholarships for excellence, for British Master's level students who wish to study in France.

All disciplines are eligible. More than 250 students have already benefited from this program.

From 2026, the Franco-British Council will no longer manage the application process for the Entente Cordiale Scholarship Programme. Applications can now only be made via the French Embassy in the United Kingdom so please refer any enquiries to this email info@francobritish.org
