Why Don’t I See My Bank Transfer Immediately in "Payments"?

Payments by bank transfer, unlike those made by bank card, do not immediately show as "registered payments" on the ESSEC account statement available from MyRegistrar, your personal registrar portal for the following reasons:


1.  There is at least a 24-hour processing delay between the payer's bank and the beneficiary's, even longer in case the transfer has been emitted from a foreign country or a country subject to exchange regulations.

2. Student Accounting at ESSEC Business School have, upon receipt, to identify and register these bank transfers so the correct student's account is credited, hence for students the necessity to specify their ESSEC identifier B00******.

3. Only when transfers have been recorded by Student Accounting are payments displayed as "registered payments" received by ESSEC Business School.


As a consequence, the average time span between the date of the bank transfer and the display on student's account statement may be 1 week maximum.

Students may make multiple bank transfer as long as the annual tuition is paid in full by the deadline. See [ FAQ about Dates of payment ]


You can verify that your bank transfer has been duly received by downloading your ESSEC account statement from MyRegistrar, menu My Documents, available 365/7/24. Your payment should no longer appear as "expected payment", but as "registered payment", dated on the day it was received on ESSEC ledger.


Please note: If this is your first year of enrollment at ESSEC, you must have completed your enrollment file and received the magic e-mail "Enrollment file completed" confirming that access to MyRegistrar is open.
